Do I need to pay online when I book?

No. We do not charge upfront for online booking. You can book your appointment online and pay after your service at the shop.

Is there a cancellation fee or late fee?

We do not charge a cancellation fee or late fee. However, if you are running late, your service may need to be shortened, adjusted, moved to another technician, or rescheduled depending on availability.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

We understand things happen. However, after 3 no-shows or repeated last-minute cancellations, the client may no longer be able to book appointments online and may be accepted as walk-in only.

Can I request a specific technician?

Yes, you may request a specific technician when booking. Please understand that if you arrive late or the technician is no longer available due to scheduling changes, your service may be performed by the first available technician.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Walk-ins are welcome when we have availability, but appointments are recommended. Booking ahead helps us reserve enough time for your service and your preferred technician if available.

What if I am not happy with my service?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If something does not look or feel right, please let our receptionist or technician know before leaving the salon so we can make minor adjustments right away whenever possible.

Do you offer refunds?

All services are final once completed. We do not offer refunds or credit after the service is finished. If there is an issue with your nails, please contact us within the repair window so we can review it and assist you properly.

How long do I have to report an issue with my nails?

For gel polish, dip powder, acrylic, builder gel, or similar nail services, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so we can evaluate the issue.

How soon do repairs need to be completed?

Approved repairs must be completed within 72 hours after the issue is reported. Repairs are usually performed by the original nail technician whenever possible.

Are nail repairs always free?

If the issue was caused by Kay’s Nail Spa, we will fix it for free within the repair policy window. If the issue was caused by outside factors, personal use, impact, picking, improper care, or damage after leaving the salon, additional charges may apply.

Do you guarantee regular polish?

We do not guarantee the longevity of regular polish once the service has been completed. Regular polish can chip or smudge more easily than gel, dip, acrylic, or builder gel. Any regular polish fixes may require an additional charge.

Why can nails crack, chip, or break after service?

We always try to create a natural and beautiful look for your nails. However, nail durability depends on many factors, including nail length, thickness, daily activities, nail condition, product type, and how the nails are used after the service. Cracking or breakage may not always be the salon’s responsibility.

What should I do if I have allergies or sensitivities?

Please inform your technician before your service if you have any known allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or reactions to specific products, ingredients, or materials. While we use professional products, allergic reactions can still happen, and it is the client’s responsibility to disclose known sensitivities in advance.

Is waxing suitable for everyone?

Waxing may not be suitable for everyone. Clients with certain medical conditions, skin conditions, recent sunburn, highly sensitive skin, or those using medications such as Accutane, Retin-A, blood thinners, or similar products should consult a healthcare provider before receiving waxing services.

What is your child safety policy?

For safety and relaxation, children must be properly supervised at all times. Children may not run, walk around unsupervised, disturb other guests, or stay near service areas unless they are receiving a service. If a child uses a tablet or device, headphones must be used so other clients can enjoy a peaceful experience.
